Burgs’ Juicy Beef Burger Is Better With Brisket Fries
Burgs’ juicy Original B costs $12.90, while another $1.90 upgrades the meal with generous Loaded Smoked Beef Brisket Fries.
Burgs’ Original B ($12.90) hit the spot, but the loaded brisket fries were the part I would go back for. Together, they turned a straightforward burger meal into something much more satisfying.

I kept my order simple with The Original B at $12.90. Burgs’ current menu describes it with a beef patty, American cheese, pickles, crispy shallots and signature sauce in a homemade bun.

The patty was nicely juicy, with enough sauce and sharpness from the pickles to keep each bite lively. The glossy bun was soft, held everything together well and did not overwhelm the beef.

Upgrading to the Loaded Smoked Beef Brisket Fries cost another $1.90, and they were the better surprise. The pulled beef was soft and smoky, the cheese coated the fries generously, and there was a proper amount of meat rather than a token scattering. The upgrade felt totally worth it.

The space also nods to Burgs’ start at Golden Mile Food Centre, with a collage wall tracing its earlier stall and milestones.

Nearby, a compact merchandise bar displays logo T-shirts, caps, keychains and moon bags, giving the restaurant another playful detail beyond the food.

Burgs occupies a two-storey shophouse in Kampong Glam, with simple upstairs seating when you want to eat in. Come for the juicy burger, but spend that little bit more on the brisket fries.
