TGIF With Currywurst, Pretzels and Beer for Around $40++
Looking for a relaxed TGIF spot near Orchard Road? BB&B, short for Bread, Beer & Brez’n, serves German beer-garden fare in a casual outdoor setting on Killiney Road.
The current promotion spread came with two plates of currywurst, three sides, a pretzel and two beers, all for around S$40++.
The two currywurst plates featured sliced sausages generously covered in reddish curry sauce, curry powder and chopped herbs. It was simple, unfussy food that felt right for winding down over drinks after a long week.

For our sides, we chose fries, German potato salad and pretzel chips, though other options were available. The variety made the set easy to share without committing to one large main course.
The pretzel was another highlight. We were told it is flown in from Germany, then served deeply browned with coarse salt and butter. BB&B says its breads are sourced through German bakery supplier Backshop.
Two amber Grevensteiner beers completed the TGIF mood. With trees, outdoor tables and a pet-friendly setting, BB&B works well for an unhurried Friday catch-up. It also stays open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. They were also many different types of beers to choose from.
